Stan Elkins - Speech
Mrs. Robinette - Speech
Suzanne Robinette is a graduate of Marshall University with a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders.  She has been employed by the Mingo County Board of Education for 11 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist.  Ms. Robinette works with students between the ages of 3 and 21 yrs. who experience difficulty with communication.  Ms. Robinette resides in West Williamson with her husband Rick, and sons, Sean and Matthew.
Tina Grace - Special Education

Mrs. Grace has been employed with Mingo County for the past nine years.  Upon her employement she was part-time Riverside and part-time Williamson High school.  After being rehired in 1999 in a full time postion she was place at Riverside and continues to serve her students today. 

Her certifications include:  General Education K-8, Special Education, Austism, Behavioral Disorders, Specific Learning Disabilities, Midly Mentally Impared, and has obtained her Masters in Autism.

Mrs. Grace is married to Larry Grace an employee of laurel Creek Mining and lives at Dan's Branch.  She is the proud mother of 2 lovely daughters, Latosha Scott who is presently attending WVU and Marissa Grace a junior at Williamson High School.  When not at her job, she loves to work cross word puzzles and be activley involved in Marissa's extra-curricular actiites.

Paula Hinkle - Special Education

Mrs. Hinkle has been teaching for 14 years in Special Education.  She currently has certifications in Elementary K-12, Specific Learning Disability, Midly Mentally Imparied, Behavoir Disorder, Austim, English as a Second Language, and a Masters in Special Education.

During this school year she will be getting married to John H. Brown and will have 2 step-daughters and a grandchild.  Her soon to be stepdaughter, Kimberly, is currently attending Concord University majoring in Chemistry and her other step-daughter, Ashley has a daughter and lives in Tennesee.  She enjoys reading, excercising, shopping, and spending time with her dog, Sparky.

Cheryl Howard - Visually Impaired

Cheryl Howard is a twelve year veteran of education in Mingo County.  Her certifications include:  Multi subjects K-8, mild and mentally impaired K-12, Specific Learning Disabilities K-12, Behavior and emotional Disorders K-12, and Visually Impaired Birth - 21 years.  She began her career as a Special Education teacher at Dingess Grade School.  After only 1 year she became the Teacher for the Visually Impaired.  She serves the entire Mingo County's Visually Impaired population.

Cheryl is married to Doug Howard and lives at Chattaroy, WV.  She is the proud parent of Robbie, who works for the N & S Railroad and resides in Pikeville, KY and Doug Jr. who attends college at Pikeville, KY.  She enjoys being with her children and is looking forward to her first grandchil in the winter.
