Mrs. New has been a teacher in Mingo County for 30 years. She holds a certification in Elementary Education. She taught first grade for 20 years, and has been teaching fourth grade at Riverside Elementary since 1995.

Mrs. New is married to Jack New, a retired teacher of Mingo and Pike counties. She is the proud mother of three children, Jacqueline, Larry and Jonathan. Jacqueline is a third grade teacher at Riverside Elementary. Larry is in his last year of pharmacy school. Jonathan has just been discharged from the Air Force.

Mrs. New enjoys spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren, Riley and Joshua, play ball. 

Mrs. Hatcher is entering her 7th year of teaching in Mingo County.  She is a graduate of Marshall University and holds  certification in elementary education.  She has taught 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grades.

Mrs. Hatcher is married to Julius Hatcher III and lives in Williamson.  She is the proud mother of two children, Julius Alexander, who is a 5th grader at Williamson Middle School and Josiah Abraham, who is four months old.  When not at school, she enjoys teaching Sunday school and spending time with her family.
